Description
This product offers flexible cold or soothing warmth. Use for the cooling bag for pain and swelling or as a warming and soothing bag for muscle pain and stiffness. Ideal for bumps, bruises and sprains.
Instructions for use: Heat therapy should not be used until 48 hours after injury.
Cooling: Place the Hot & Cold Pack in the freezer.
Warming with hot water: Bring 3 liters of water to the boil. Remove the water from the heat. Do not place the Cold & Hot Pack in the heated water for longer than 7 minutes. Carefully remove the pack from the water and then check it for leaks.
Heating in the microwave: Place the pack on a paper towel or paper plate in the microwave. Heat the Cold & Hot Pack at full power for 20 seconds. (Caution: If the Hot & Cold Pack inflates like a balloon, stop the heating immediately and wait until it has cooled down completely. Remove and dispose of the pack). Remove the Hot & Cold Pack from the microwave oven and check for leaks. Knead it lightly to distribute the heat evenly. You can reheat the Cold & Hot Pack in 15 second intervals (in the microwave) until it has reached the desired temperature.
Application: Place the Cold & Hot Pack on the covered skin or wrap it in a cloth.
